New Heartland Manufacturing Plant

Just read on my RV Business newsletter Wednesday and it was on the local news yesterday that there will be a new Heartland manufacturing plant in Nampa, Idaho and they expect to employ 200. Great news! I wonder if this means then that if I ever experience a problem with my Bighorn, that I can take it there! Nice.

    Seems like it was about a year ago, my brother-in-law was bemoaning the fact Forest River was planning on adding a manufacturing facility near Granger, IN. He has a road salt / chemical packing and distribution company near Granger and his concern, was the impact to the (low cost) labor market.

    I don't know whether plans are still on for Forest River, but still chuckle at the reality that sector of the labor market.
