New Pilot Travel Center, Gila Bend

Gila Bend, already with a Love's, sure wouldn't hurt to have a Pilot. There is also a new one going in at Exit 42, Tacna exit on the south side of I-8. Not one of the big players though.

I try to avoid the big truck stops, the pumps are usually filthy, they often don't have pay-at-the-pump on the diesel pumps, the inside is usually crowded, and the price of fuel is usually higher than surrounding stations. To my mind truck stops are a perfect excuse to get an auxiliary fuel tank so you can avoid them. JMO of course.

We need gas, not diesel, but we seldom use truck stops either. We are 48' long with the trailer we pull and can get into most stations without all the busy traffic that the truck stops have. It's usually cheaper at the station down the street too.

They got the ok to build it.

That will increase the attractiveness of Gila Bend by 400%.

Yep I never have to fuel up with 5er in tow. Can go find the cheapest fuel after I have unhooked in camp ground
