Being ex LE--I too look at most everyone with a jaundiced eye. A lesson we learned a few years ago by stopping to walk through a park by a lighthouse. There was a fellow leaning on his car near the pathway, and as soon as we dropped into the park, he started following us. We high tailed it to an open area, where we could see him still stalking us. Since then, we NEVER venture from the rig without OC in our pocket.
Having just spent time in a ghetto city in Cali, I am glad we can choose where we travel. We did learn a couple new languages on our travels!
