- robatthelakeExplorerJust a note on the Honda CRV! They are a wee bit too noisy in my humble opinion!
We have a lovely looking Mettalic Green CRV ,it's an 07 , tested a 14 ,just as loud !
They are not bad with brand new tires, but as they wear ugh! - Melntb1Explorer

i just looked it up and yes it is made in China. Also, in the process of looking it up I saw that Buick is coming out with a wagon in 2018. I wonder if it will be dinghy towable! I have been wanting a wagon so it looks intriguing to me! I wonder if there would any issues towing a longer wagon type vehicle?
Anyone have experience with the Buick Envision? - lanerdExplorer II

X2.
Or whatever.
Actually, my personal choice would be a 2003 to 2006 Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited 2 door. I don't like the look of the later models.
Being a CJ guy, I always hated the YJ, TJ, and now the JK when they first came out. A Jeep, however, is still a Jeep in my book as long as it has a frame and solid axles. I will probably hate the new one when it comes out.
A Wrangle in JK form is a large vehicle. A TJ is easily 1000lbs lighter.
Still, the Cherokee is every much a 4x4, has a good ride and power, and is lighter than a JK.
$.02.

Too heavy and not small.
Jeep Cherokee or Chevy Equinox. I would stay with the 4wd Jeep Cherokee. My opinion. Especially a Trailhawk.
Will - HeisenbergExplorerThe Equinox is a wonderful dinghy, so is the Wrangler. I have both.
