Over or Under?

Given some of the recent "discussions", I feel slighted that I haven't had a question or an issue up for debate....errr I mean comment in a long time here.
So, if we can get to double digit responses on things like front end alignments and tire plugs and let's not forget the ever popular 2500 vs 3500 and GVW vs GVWR (and all of it's associated discussions), I want to pose a question to the crater of wisdom here.

Over or under? We all know that over is the best way to install a roll of TeePee in the bathroom in your home.
But what about in an RV, and what if it's a wet or dry bath? Does the orientation matter if it's special RV TeePee or just regular ole store bought?
Is it the same recommendation for single ply vs quilted 2 ply?
What if it's scented?
If my Tee Pee holder is on te outside wall of the RV will installin it one way or another affect the sway of the trailer or camper while towed? Same if it's on a back or front wall? Do you remove the roll less it's a certain % used before towing due to tongue weight limitations or CCC concerns?
This has been heavy on my mind recently, as I've spent the last few weeks living in my camper. Noticed the TeePee roll was installed "under" and I wonder if that added to the body roll in the corners when I drove it over here? Gotta be something, caused it, so figure I'd start with the easy things and move up from there.

I heard on the radio that they did a study on this and apparently if you go one way you are a pessimist and if you go the other way you are a optimist.

I can't remember which way is which though. I will try and look it up.

Edit: I found this but, I am still looking : In the Toilet Paper Personality Test, 2000 people were surveyed on which way they roll their toilet paper, and on how assertive they are in their relationships on a scale of 1 to 10. The results revealed that those โ€œwho roll over are more dominant than those who roll under,โ€ meaning they have a Type-A personality. Under-rollers are the opposite, being a member of the more submissive and laid-back niche. Sorry under-rollers, but youโ€™re probably not going to rule to world any time soon.

The study also found that some over-the-roll-people feel so strongly about the orientation of their toilet paper, that they actually admitted to flipping the roll over if they come across a stray under-roll at someoneโ€™s house. Now thatโ€™s dedication.

No matter which way you install the roll, it still spools off the top of the roll. LOL.
Yep, really, it does.

A better question would be:

front or back

I vote FRONT.

I mean with only 2 real options, a person is either right or wrong! Not alot of wiggle room here and frankly I'm concerned this may need to be changed or rectified prior to moving the camper, and I have to do that Thursday and it will be dark and I'll be driving up a steep washboard road, and, well, I just don't want to have any issues.

You need a TP holder like this (made from a horse bit):

Good luck, BTW.;)

Over is best because after big argument with wife you roll up nice couple hundred bucks in there an note written on the TP 'I'm sorry Honey'.

Or if argument goes on and on you can write 'you stinker' and it will roll out nicely in the over fashion.

It never really mattered to me, either way, but after 52 years of marriage, DW has taught me the foolishness of my ways and "suggested"
that it should be Over. :W

Grit, the most important aspect to remember is to make sure that you have a roll(s) in a properly secured, waterproof storage bag(s) to prevent moisture from entering. (I prefer the Glad 1 Gallon Freezer Bags, DON'T take a chance with cheap, off brand, generic storage bags. Only use FREEZER bags!..)

I mean, what would you do if you hit a tree limb and ripped your roof? Would over/under matter if it was raining, which it most likely would be as it obscured your vision causing you to not see the limb that ripped off your roof in the first place?

Are you willing to take that chance???

Wet paper is wet paper, my friend, and rendered useless upon contact with any wet substance...

What happens if some coworkers are over after work and have a few too many adult beverages and therefor loose their aiming capacity??

Do you really want to chance wet paper??? I think not...

The proper answer is to have a roll in a proper sealed bag, in every room of your rv, the trunk of your car, glove compartment, your bug out bag, you briefcase, etc... I cannot express the importance of this enough!!

Don't fall victim as so many do each day! Wet paper is not even useful as a fire starter. Our landfills are full with people having no choice except to discard the useless wet paper!...

Don't be a part of the problem! Be smarter than the paper!
Inquiring minds want to know...

Sounds like a kickback LOL.....sort of.

Much like Fly 4 Fun it doesn't matter what my opinion is on this over/under debate. Its over in my house per wife's orders. Thank heavens we don't like cats or it would all be down - on the floor.

I don't why "over/under?" is even a question anymore. Seth Wheeler of Albany, NY completely settled this in 1891.

Bidet...isn't that what the hose that came with the toilet is for?

As for the age old question of over vs under...have you ever seen a fishing reel spooled from the bottom? Or a hose reel? Or the brown paper they give you when you buy steamed crabs (for those of us near the Chesapeake)?
