so why was my post closed? it was a helped wanted post. I got one reply...that wasnt showing on my post anymore...and it says closed. I didnt recieve any notice from anyone saying they were closing...

You have supplied the information about the post. Just because the post is now "closed", anyone can click on the links to the left of your original post and send you a private message. You can then have a dialogue (privately) about the position with a potential worker this way without getting all kinds of negativity on the forum thread.
Moderators usually close Workcamping threads pretty fast, but that should not prevent ANYONE with a User ID on RV.net from contacting you.
