Prodeco Electric Bikes

A previous post about electric bikes really got my interest. Upon some research I have narrowed the search to this model:

Oasis Beach Cruiser

Anyone have info on this model or manufacturer?
I'm not interested in buying the hub motor and battery to convert my bike now. I need a new one as the current one is 20 years old.

Remember this," your not going to be able to take it with you when you go".

But the widows new beau will want to be entertained in style...:)

With that sense of humor you'll probably never die. Thanks for the laugh.
  • Thanks for the replies. I liked the 750 watt, 1.6 horsepower electric motor for the times when the old bones and muscles don't cooperate.

  • We are looking at the Pedego Beach Cruisers. They get better reviews on the e bike forums. They do not slide out as easy due to the weight balancing,. We rode them and they are SUPER quiet and very comfortable. You should check them out. They are about the same price, and have better top speed and battery life.
  • You would be better served to do a Google search for whatever question you have eg. `Prodeco bike reviews'. I'd also suggest looking at the Currie Tech line. We are looking at their 2014 Path Plus model.
I strongly recommend you buy whatever electric bike you decide on from a local dealer who can service it. Electric bikes are different cats and most repair shops don't know anything about them.
This from a couple who routinely put 2000 miles on our electric bikes each year.
  • That Odyssey looks pretty cool, but doesn't have a price listed.
