Well, if your population is โso old they will die anywayโ how come the 65+ crowd gets the vaccine before front line workers? :B. Weโre a little concerned about when we head down in Feb for 2 months, but the only place weโll interact is the grocery store so we will just be extra careful.

An excellent question, Dave. I'm a geezer and can think of many population segments that should be vaccinated ahead of me.
Won't much matter. The vaccine allotments are coming in dribs and drabs anyway. I'm good waiting to see how things go. Perhaps wait until the J&J vaccine is approved. One shot and done, no return trip to stand in line.

Of course not. FL is free.
They reached heard immunlty in August. No spikes down there. If you are sick you will know it, symptoms are like the flu and include bad headache and loss of taste, but check the list as not everyone has every symptom. If you have symptoms you probably will be in bed, thus isolated, not walking about chatting it up with people. Sometimes Dr death fauci says mask work. if you are very sick with it then just wear a mask, and then everyone is safe. Sometimes dr death says mask dont work. But if you listen to him you wont be traveling anyway, you would have killed yourself already.

Not sure where you live, but here in the Keys you cannot get into any establishment with out a mask and people except for the out of staters and the people from Miami are adhering to it.
And as far as taking care of the seniors I guess you have not heard the news (right from the governor) that we will be getting the vaccination even before essential workers.
I checked with the Monroe county board of health and and they said yes that it is true and we should be getting an e-mail as soon as it is available.
I was going to quote the governors words, but I don't want to start a political war
