We've loved every minute of our 16 years of full-timing. We used a 33' 5th wheel for 8 years and a 40' motorhome for 8 years. Most of our camping was either boondocking or public campgrounds (national parks, national forests) and also volunteered in those kinds of parks. Our 40' fit in the same favorite spots as the 33'. We definitely did not enjoy driving the big truck around to sitesee. Our Jeep Liberty and motorhome gave us much enjoyment.
Although we love the area we settled down, we still get a pang when a RV passes by on the highway. We miss it but we saw and did everything on our bucket list. We're satisfied but dang...we miss it.
