Repairs for Brake Buddy

Our Brake Buddy needs repairs According to the company they are the ones who can repair it.
It is no longer under warranty. Can you get them fixed elsewhere
We are now in the RGV Moving to Corpus Christie area in a week and a half
  • I got mine 16 months ago and it started blowing fuses and then the nose fell off the plug and I had to wire a new one on ut and it's still blowing fuses. Called them and they said ship it back, so I will. Not sure what that's gonna cost from Washington state ,but they said that they would pay to send it back to me.
It was interesting when he asked me the serial number and had to ask me again when I bought it as they showed it was built in 2010 and I bought it in July of 2013. Been sitting somewhere for a long time.

BB has sent me parts at no charge, they are great to work with!

    X2 great service
  • Agree will all the other posts. Ours failed a couple of years ago, a year out of warranty. We paid for shipping to BB, they repaired it and shipped back to us at campground in FL. No charge for repairs or return shipping.

  • We had a problem with a BB we had. They shipped us a loaner to the campground we were headed to and I shipped them our BB as soon as I could. Used a UPS store, they packed and boxed it. Used the loaner the whole rest of the trip (FL to Maine & return.) When we got home, called them, they shipped our BB
back, fixed, and I returned loaner. Two shipping fees, they absorbed the other 2. Their customer service is great.

Maybe something like the above will work for you.
  • I believe they will send you a loaner if needed. They are great at customer service.
  • Brake Buddy is very easy to work with. The plug in connector broke and was still under the warranty. I sent it back, and they checked it out...replaced the compressor as it was noisier than it was supposed to be...No charge at all.
  • Our Brake Buddy failed. We sent it to them, for a prompt and reasonable repair. They called us when it was done and we gave them the address where we would be next.
