Replace Rocker Recliner in Motor Home

Any instruction of how to replace a recliner in a MH?

I would like to use a Barco Lounger with a round metal ring on bottom to replace existing chair. How is the chair attached to the floor? Are the round metal rings adequate to use when replacing factory chair?

Thanks
  • Thank you. Are the chairs bolted to a threaded location in the deck of the MH? Or are they attached through to the underside by bolt and nut?

You can add a larger (than the metal ring) round wooden disk to the bottom of any recliner/rocker this will make it more stable for travel but still allows you to move it easily if needed.

OR You can match any existing mounts through the wooden disk. Just attach the metal ring to the wooden disk and then drill holes in the wood for the exisitng mounts.
