- rondebExplorerPhoto of Lazy Boy Recliners replacing the air bed sofa
We took out the air bed sofa as it was the most uncomfortable couch in the world. There was also a little tiny recliner that we took out also. Replaced the couch/bed with the recliners with a little table between them. We have a table/storage that we put in where the little recliner was. The 2 recliners and little table fit in the same space as the couch. - GdlowExplorerWe got our "European style" from Costco...love them...but tough to stay awake on:B
- crouseman41ExplorerWe replaced our sofa bed with two Best brand recliners. The weight of the two is about 50 pounds less than the sofa, and we chose recliners that can be placed close to the wall and still recline. Best makes "petite" recliners, but we were able to use "medium" size chairs. The chairs are made in the U.S., and we have one in the s&b house that has held up beautifully over years of use. The backs can be removed, and the two pieces fit through the motorhome door easily.
- TripleEExplorerAnother vote for Laz-y-Boy. Best change we have done.
- Dave_H_MExplorer IIWe did the lazy boy change out.
One thing I will always regret is that I did not hold out/take the time to get the type that do not take more space in the rear when they recline. - LaurenExplorerTwo 5ers and took sleeper couches (so darn uncomfortable for sitting!) out and put in Lazy Boy recliners.
- cekkkExplorerWe took the opportunity to remove a pair of large leather Lazyboys in our family room to the camper. With the backs removed they are reasonable to handle alone. We also pulled the stock couch, blowup mattress and all and replaced it with a non-reclining one purchased at the Lazyboy in the Chandler area. It just fit through the door. Seating is now much more comfortable. Best of all, the camper now sleeps TWO!
- Vet_ManExplorerI replaced mine with lazy boy because the back came off, much easier to get inside. I saved the couch as it was still looking good. When i sold the MH new owners wanted the Bed/couch. It also had seat belts for additional passengers. It would have been a deal breaker, glad I kept it. Gave the Lazy Boys to an unwed mom, living in assisted living. She was happy.
- imgoin4itExplorerI got two Lane recliners on sale for about half of what one Lambright recliner costs. The Lambright is nicer and that is what I was going to get but could not pass up what I found and they are working good. When the time comes I can toss them out and Lambright would be what I would go for. .
- ronfishermanModeratorWe have 2 Lambright recliners in out motorhome. They are comfortable, durable and fit in a tight place.
You can see examples of them at Bradd & Hall. Several RV remodel companies handle their products. I prefer to go directly to the factory when purchasing my chairs.
