replacing kitchen faucet?

We replaced our kitchen faucet with a better one with a pull out nozzle. Love it. No problems. Just make sure you get one that matches up with the holes in your counter or where the faucet is mounted.
Also replaced the bathroom faucet.

Score another who replaced kitchen and bath faucets with something standard (but more sturdy)from the plumbing aisle at the big box store for stick houses.

There was a time 6~10 years ago when if you bought a faucet with a pull out nozzle built into the head it would require some different fittings to make it work. The industry has changed its ways in order to make it easier for the average DIY'r to replace a faucet.
Go to your favorite HW store and get a nice faucet. It will be much better quality than the flimsy RV stuff and the price is competitive.
I changed out both our faucets the first week we owned our TT!

We replaced the vanity faucet with a Moen, no adapters needed. No tools either.

Replaced ours years ago. We needed adapters to connect the pipes to the new faucet. The hardest part was getting access to the underside of the faucet. As someone else said, measure the spacing of the old connections and make sure the new one will fit.

Any std 8" on center kitchen faucet will work without any adaptors and will cover the holes as well

I replaced mine two years ago, and it was the easiest and quickest plumbing job I have ever done.
I had the old one off and the new one installed in about fifteen minutes

I had all the tools that I thought I would need lined up, and then I never had to use any of them.
I replaced the el cheapo plastic one with a high goose neck one.

The fittings to get it off were just hand tight, and the new ones to go on were the same. the instructions with the new one even said, "don't over tighten the connections"

Replaced ours with a Moen pullout faucet in the kitchen......no adapters and installed very easy. Bathroom was an upgrade....little taller and swivel....no adapters there either.

Some are foldable down so you can cover sink with factory sink covers leaving a slick look if you have corian. You will probably have to contact Mfg. I am not aware of any foldable facets at Home Depot. I had to replace mine in my last Fleetwood and called them and had an exact replacement in 3 to 4 days.

I replaced my bath sink faucet with a Kohler. Direct fit with no adapters either.
