Rubber roof repair

We just picked up a used 2011 TT. It needs to be cleaned up, but is in great shape. The roof need cleaning, conditioning, and caulking. I've researched it and am ready to do it. The night we brought the camper home, backing up into the driveway, the portable basketball hoop caught the roof. It tore a small hole in the roof, about 1/2" hole. Ugh. Anyways, this small of a hole, I'm wondering if I should patch it, or if just caulk would work.
The best part of this is my wife of 32 years looked at me and we laughed it off. No harsh or accusatory looks!

1/2 inch you have opetions. Dicor caulk (the non self leveling kind)

Or eternabond.. You could take a 11x11 inch square from Camping world
    Cut in quarters (5.5x5.5 inches)

Prep the surface (Clean very well as per instructions)

Slap the patch on... CAREFULLY (It is not called eternabond for nothing)

    Roll out and done.
  • It's good to apply self leveling dicor around the edges of your eternabond tape, double protection.
  • Use Eternabond for the repair. Then use the E/bond on the seams snd edges. Clean well before applying and use a roller.

It will be worth the time and money.
  • Eternabond tape.
Caulk may come loose or deteriorate. Eternabond is eternal
  • Yes, I learned my lesson. Can't wait to get on the road with this
  • You could caulk over it just as the factory did with everything else or on the other hand you could buy a roll of eternabond since you may need it again. Know what I mean. LOL

I'm just messing with you. One of the things people on here will emphasize is to get out and look several times. Dont worry about anyone else and what they think. It's easier to get out and look 10 times than it is to repair it.
