I think you meant CNN.
Nope. Besides I don't watch CNN or hardly any TV at all. - kellemExplorer

Ok that's funny.
Likely more than 10-12 days but nowhere near the hype the media is portraying. Wow
It's already subsiding in China and we're heading into warmer temps so the psycho's are wrong again. Lol
This ain't the end of the world.

You can always find some crackpot with credentials who goes rogue with stupidity. There's so much falsehood in what he's saying it's ridiculous. This disease is 35 times more lethal than the flu. The flu infects an average of 1.3 other people per day compared to Covid19 is 2.5 per day. To make it worse, the incubation for Covid is between 1 to two weeks, and people are fully transmissable during this period before they have any symptoms, but the flu only takes several days. Four out of five people get it from someone who shows no symptoms. This virus has a level of stealth which is serious. We have no herd immunity. Yes it kills the elderly more easily, but it's also killing people of all ages including the doctors that treat it in their forties. We should all take it seriously. - CroweExplorerTurn off the Fox Noise and you will feel better in 14 days

Not way overblown, just way misunderstood. Plus knee-jerk reactions by the politicians don't really help. Most actions seem to be poorly thought out
Yup. Take MA for example-413 cases in a population of 6 million. Do the math and it's a .00001 infection rate. Keep in mind that 1% is .01. They have had one death, so it's a .0024 death rate. NH has 1.35 million people with 55 cases, an infection rate of .00004. No deaths yet. Will the percentages be higher in more densely populated areas? Yup, but that's the nature of the beast. It's just logical that if you have more people closer together ANY communicable disease will spread faster. Italy has the third oldest population in the world plus they live on top of each other. This type of thing plus issues like the the nursing home in Washington State skew the data. What's NOT logical is the braniacs in thestate of MA decided to cut hours on the MBTA, thereby making the trains more crowded. There are many people who rely on the T who still have to work, no matter what.
All along it's been said that most people will be fine. I'm not sure what part of that people don't understand. Just crazy. But the fact of the matter is if you're over 80, and in poor health, and you catch the virus, your chances are not good. So common sense would tell people to stay away from hospitals, nursing homes, and places where there are lots of old people.
And stay home if you don't feel well, which of course is the hardest thing to do. These are things you should be doing during the regular flu season and no one does anyway. People who are sick go to work because there is no money coming in if you don't go to work.
Your absolute COMMON SENSE scares me LOL! If you are paranoid or at risk stay home. Otherwise, be practical. - drsteveExplorer

This guy is not a researcher, he is a critic of people who do actual research. And since most of the world's epidemiologists seem to agree that we are in serious trouble, I'll take this fellow's protests with a grain of salt.
College fix has a distinct political agenda too. I would not consider them a credible source for factual information. - fj12ryderExplorer III

So far as availability of rv’s goes thousands were manufactured in a few weeks after Katrina.
If covid19 is an instant death like so many believe why didn’t ALL of the people on the cruise ships not die? Isn’t it strange that many actually recovered or didn’t get sick at all?
This is way overblown.

It's crazy. This manufactured crisis has people stupid. According to the story, Los Angeles Co has a population of 10 million (10,000,000) but only 230 total cases and 2 deaths. That's a crisis? Hell, they abort more babies than that everyday.

And without restriction it would be way way higher.
Same with the flu this year. ONLY 18,000 deaths because there's a vaccine and immunity in some people. The flus been going on since last fall. The Coronavirus has just started since early March with a few reported cases.
How many would die from the H1N1 without a vaccine and no immunity and no restrictions on travel or personal contact?
18,000+ and then add 100's of 1000's from the Covid-19.
Hospitals and supplies would run out and people would die in their homes.
Staying home to save 1000's of lives seems like a humane thing to do.
