saturn fuse bypass switch

looking for a fuse bypass switch for my 2007 ion saturn toad. so far all the switches i've looked at will not work on a saturn. does anyone have a switch for their saturn? thanks
  • We have an 08 Saturn Vue and we have a fuse switch on the passenger side fuse box inside the car. Your 2007 might be under the hood....????

Here is the company I bought mine from:

    Fuse switch.

Either way I think they would have something that should work for you.

Here is a thread on IRV2 relating to our year off Vue.

  • Or, roll your own.

Take a Saturn fuse, short it to blow it.

Take enough plastic off the top to expose the tops of the two (now unconnected) legs.

Securely attach a fuse holder to one leg. (That is to keep the circuit fused.)

Attach a properly rated DC switch to the other side of the fuse holder.

Attach the other side of the DC switch back to the other leg of the blown fuse.

Voila, you have a working fuse switch for the price of a switch, fuse holder and one fuse.

  • thanks- will add this idea to my pondering about the problem
