Saturn Lw300 upper brake lights change

We tow a 2004 Saturn LW300 four down. A recent state inspection revealed that most of the six small upper brake lights had burned out. Simply replacing the oem pc168 bulbs is not an option as the originals are soldered into a plastic base. GM wanted $8 apiece for bulb and base, a total of $48 plus tax. A Google search turned up an outfit called Memotronics which offered ten bulbs and bases for less than $9 total with s and h included. They delivered in less than five days. Installation was a snap.
