Offhand...Jeep Grand Cherokees came with donut tires for a while.

It was a simple puncture I would plug it with my Safety Seal Kit then air up with my Viair compressor.

If it was a blowout or otherwise unrepairable I would install the full size spare either for the truck or TT and keep going.

If I did have a mini-spare, I'd have no problem putting it on up front for a 50mph ride to the next tire shop. If a rear tire goes flat, move a front wheel to the back, and put the mini up front.

I carry a 24" Craftsman breaker bar 3" extension, and a 12 ton bottle jack. I also have a HFT torque wrench to put the spare back on with.

I am to impatient to wait for road service, further on in life I may want to wait.

Same here. As we're leaving on a couple thousand mile trip my DW asks: "have you ever had a flat tire?" My response was take it back, don't jinx the trip. But no, she goes on about not meaning on a TV and 5er. Well, as it happens we are at the end of the trip, 40 miles from home and the right rear 5er china bomb goes. 95 degrees out, on an off ramp with plenty of room and no traffic, AAA says over an hour to respond. Over DW's objections I have the tire changed and we're back on the road 20 minutes after I tell her to call back and cancel. Stop at the truck stop about 5 miles down the road to check air and such, there's the AAA guy.

Not sure where you live or RV but that option doesn't work well here. It's often 100-200 miles or more between cities. Would have to wait several hours minimum for a assistance.
