if the time comes that she needs a mobility scooter I can recommend a Travel-Scoot. I fold mine up to slide in the back door of my Roadtrek and it only weighs 35# to lift into my Equinox back end. The battery is good for 12-15 miles on a charge. I have had mine 3 years and could not do much without it.
