discovered the squirrels (or at least one) had made a nest on top of propane tank and chewed propane hoses until they leaked.. don't think they have gotten into TT, but really am not sure why they are using TT as home, since they have lots of other places to go. Subdivision was pecan orchard and still has many old pecan trees.. TT is in fairly open area in side yard, so you would think the destructive critters would hang around somewhere else. One of my jobs this weekend is to look around the bottom good to see if I find any openings they might have been going in through. I have not seen any evidence of them being inside, but I really haven't looked into cabinets closely.
I have been thinking about putting out RAT traps, but not sure if the bait will just encourage squirrels to come to the trap. Too many around to think I can get rid of them all. i will be like the person who said he had caught 30, except that might be in a very short time.
