A good friend of mine and fellow RV'er posted the following on her Facebook page this morning. I am trying to help her be able to get back out and go camping again. I would love to share trips with her and her DH. If anyone knows of someone with a similar situation, please contact me and I will put you in contact with her.
"Hello Facebook friends. I want to find someone who has had their entire stomach removed like me so that I can learn from them. I do not know anybody so I am reaching out on Facebook in hopes of finding a person that can give me pointers and advice on how to cope. The doctor said people who have had a bypass surgery are not the same as me because the stomach is still there to produce enzymes and they still have their valves at the top and bottom of their stomach. I do not have any valves or stomach tissue so I am a unique patient. If any of you know of someone please ask them to contact me. Thanks."
