LOL!! Ed has been in the trucking business for decades - I understand what you are saying :-) And good for your daughter, she clearly deals with frustration all darn day, and then to have to put up with stupidity while she's trying to sleep..... ugh.
And as an RVer, I KNOW that trucks have to run reefers; so I'll park as far away as possible, from the big rigs.
