To portable dump tank or not to portable dump tank...

that is the question. I am at a seasonal site right now (my first) and we're in a low lying area so I have to pay $20 a week to get pumped, or pack up and dump myself. I've been looking into a port...

We stick mainly to state and national parks, most without sewer hookups. Our four wheel 27 gallon Thetford portable waste tank gets a workout, but I don't mind using it to empty both tanks since it makes our stays more enjoyable. The longest dump run I've made so far is about 1.75 miles.
