Towing a Fiat 500

Question

Has any one on this forum wired their Fiat 500 for towing? I need to run some wire from the engine compartment into the interior. I just can't seem to find a safe place to drill through the firewall. Was wondering what others may have done. Thanks  Marty

When I installed my Unified brake system in my GMC Terrain, I ran into the same problem. Wound up drilling a small 1/2" hole close to the floor and pretty much under the brake pedal so that I wouldn't be putting my foot on it. I then put in a rubber grommet in the hole to keep the wires from chaffing against the sharp edges of the hole.
