toyo or double point tires 225,70R19.5

I know that this has been bashed around many times , but has anybody used the double point tires....I have never heard of them. Toyos are $355 each and dbl pt are $217.00 I need a set for the duel drivers......any input would be helpful, I have Toyos on the others rims..........
  • Perhaps you mean Double Coin tires? I have never heard of double point tires nor did a Google search return any information.

However, just a week ago I replaced my four drive tires with Toyo tires from Les Schwab. The OEM tires were Michelin but the Toyo's were considerably less expensive and I have used Toyo tires from Schwab for over ten years without any problems.
  • I agree that you most likely man double coin tires. My son works at Les Schwab and says only real knock on them is that they can be difficult to keep balanced.

I also have used Toyo's on two jeeps, one Mustang, and a DP motorhome.
Have handled well, good mileage from them and highly recommend them.
  • Double Coin=China; Toyo= USA or Japan. I know what my choice would be, TOYO
  • I was looking last year, ended up going with BFG ST230's Load Range G in 225/70/19.5's. I think I paid right at $300 a piece. Got out the door with tax just over $2k. i liked moving up from load range F to the G's. They have been great thus far.
