Trip report

Just returned from Big Bend NP with a return trip to White Sands for a total of 2300 miles and got an impressive(to me) 11.2 mpg, for the trip I fought a head wind going down to Texas and got a 8.8 mpg but made up for on the way. I really like this diesel truck over my old gas MH.

    Isn't the diesel nice? It just chugs along enjoying the load. Glad you had good trip!

    Glad you had a good trip. Towing into a big headwind kills mileage. I took a trip with a smaller trailer and a diesel truck several years ago and averaged 14 mpg overall, but one day dragging across Oklahoma into a 50 mph headwind I got only 9 mpg.
