update hip surgery
had my pre op app today and registered at the hospital. so much info and I am sure I will forget half of it before next Monday morning.. told Dr I couldn't see as I'm nervous as heck about the surger...

Quality of life will be significantly better.
I had a hip replaced 10 yrs. ago...(metal on metal) Would do it again in a heartbeat. Only stayed in hospital 1.5 days and went home. Wife is nurse! Gotta git up and move around. A walker and cane were my best friends for a couple weeks. Time flew by. You will find that if you have the will, the "way" will be there.
Had total shoulder replacement 2 yrs. ago. While successful, muscles are taking more time to adjust.
