X 2, this is the answer. Mine does it too but has not failed yet. - Homer1ExplorerShut off your outside supply, then try the same thing using only your onboard water tsnk. If you still have the noise---check your hot water tank CHECK VALVE.
- TS21ssoExplorerJust this past weekend, we had a similar problem. Vibration and noise when city water turned on more that a quarter turn. Didn't solve the problem until I removed the brass water regulator. No problem rest of weekend with absence of regulator.
