Well, Knoxville and the surrounding area is a good place to be at this time of year. Now, in another couple of months, it might not be too good of a place to be, but hopefully, you will be back on the road by then. Make the insurance get you a nice little rental car and travel to all the area sites.
If you can get tickets for a UT game, even if you are not a fan, it is definitely an experience!! A good number of their FANS (yes, fanatics!!) are just that!
Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, numerous TVA lakes, GSMNP and all that has to offer is within an hours drive and now that the leaves are beginning to change, it is absolutely breath-taking.
Hope you get it fixed by the insurance company and can be on your way speedily.
