We were disappointed in just one feature of the 220 - it's about 3/8" too tall to go through a stow-bin door! I got fed up of taking the lid off every time I wanted to put it away, so we've designated the 220 as the patio BBQ and bought a Q100 for the RV.
The 220 replaced a mammoth 4-burner Char-Broil we'd had for a few years. It never really got hot enough - according to the thermometer in the lid it rarely topped 450F. The 220 gets plenty hot and is big enough for most of our outdoor cooking.
Did the same thing. Always stored the 220 on its stand in the garage. right next to our big 4 burner Kenmore (weber twin) Ended up selling the big grill. The 220 is perfect for the wife and I.
One of the best investments ive ever made.
