We just got our first travel trailer and I thought it would be a good idea to weigh it before and after its loaded with "stuff" but I can't seem to find a weigh station near by. Does anyone know of a weigh station on Long Island that can weigh a 32 ft travel trailer? I searched the internet and can't seem to find one.
I finally located a weigh station on Long Island!!!
Gershow Recycling in Medford has 2 scales and the largest can accommodate up to a 70' trailer. They charge $10 to weigh an RV. Their number is 631-289-6188.
Not in the traditional sense, at least not that I am aware of. There are places where truckers can refuel, but they nothing like the truck stops that I've seen out west, where truckers can refuel, take showers, eat, etc..
