SNOW!
Yup, we finally got our first snow in central Indiana last night and today. Temps are in the low 20's, so actually, that's not so bad. But the wind has been blowing, making that wind chill really bad, like wind chill of 7 below! And there are a few drifts occurring (at last around my house) although the amount of snow is not much at all. The worst is, it's rained for the last couple days, so under this thin layer of snow is a sheet of ice! Well, I think I'll stay warm inside the house tonight and forfeit sleeping in the camper! I was in the camper today and the dog water bowl, (left on purpose), had ice on the top, but still fluid under the ice. Glad everything is winterized. FYI, just heard on the news, my county has a travel advisory in affect. So, although this doesn't LOOK that bad, it's the ice under it that's hazardous
So after playing with my John Deere tractor snow blower and freezing my toes off making a path to the fire wood through those drifts, I've spent most of the day doing this!
104 degrees in that tub! Oh yea, that Coleman Blow up hot tub is still going strong in my lower living room! (We've had it since last April... running almost non-stop). It's been a real champ. We've throughly enjoyed this hot tub. Only cost $299 and hold 225 gallons of water, and is completely portable, inflates and deflates and can be put away. So, sitting in the tub, looking outside the window at my poor frozen camper, I can only dream of warmer weather now!
FYI, have a WONDERFUL fire going strong in the fire place! Gotta love those fireplaces and that big screen TV over the fire place.... just soak away in the tub and enjoy the snow, the fire, and the television!
