I had a bout of Plantar Fasciitis (sp?) and bought heel pads from the following for all of my slippers and switch between shoes. They worked for me.

You know, I had PF myself some years ago and it felt like walking on broken glass. The podiatrist Rx'd me some 3/4 arch support insoles and they provided immediate relief. I keep them in all my shoes and the problem completely went away. What an easy fix! So I never thought to try them in the moccasins, thanks for the idea. I have been searching online for slippers like I wanted and found a number of good possibilities in the ACORN brand. Many models have slightly raised heels and an arch support. What a good idea, why we would need less support at home or at leisure? The only trouble was, almost all of the ones I like are out of stock. Must be that a lot of people favor them, but at least I know where to look now. I did order one pair I was able to find in my size. Thanks all.
