- Dave_H_MExplorer IIYep I have it with my parent insurance comp0any (add on to the policy)
Only needed a tow once but service was great. - Captain_HappyExplorerJust call your insurance carrier, I bet you can get it added to your policy. I did
- webslaveExplorerYou pay cheap, you get cheap. That's been my experience. I've had Good Sam for longer than I can remember. They cover all my vehicles, even my antiques, whether I'm a block from the house or clear across the country. Coach-Net or Good Sam (I prefer Good Sam, but, then again, I'm a Lifetime Member) for really broad coverage for whatever you are driving or towing. If you get something cheap that just covers your tow vehicle, be prepared to leave the trailer on the side of the road...they won't tow or put tires on your trailer just because it is on the hitch.
- Jim2007ExplorerHi All.. I have Good Sam .. It covers both truck and trailer... One thing to think about be sure that the tow truck they sent will tow both the trailer and the truck. I had the the truck blow a power steering. Pump. Need to tow the truck and trailer .... Jim2007.
- I stick with cash as needed. Although I would consider adding reimbursement to the insurance policy.

In the past I have always changed my own flats, but now that I am way over the hill I am thinking of getting triple A or something equal
What do you all have that gives the best coverage for the cost ?

AAA has too many exceptions i.e. towing your Truck and RV Trailer, limited towing milage and does not provide universal coverage in all locations, towns or states.
Go with Good Sam emergency Road Side service and also buy Good Sam Travel Assist policy. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Talk to whoever you insure the vehicle with. Most companies offer road side service.
Agreed! I have Farmers and the coverage for truck and RV is DIRT cheap. Just don't understand having these other companies. - downtheroadExplorerTalk to whoever you insure the vehicle with. Most companies offer road side service.
- gboppExplorerWhy would you want road service for only your tow vehicle?
Maybe I'm missing something?
Coach-net and Good Sam are the most popular. - darsben1ExplorerIf you go with Good Sam or Coachnet. They will cover your your tow vehicle as well as your new trailer. They will also cover any other vehicle you or your S/O own.
