Where do you store your Shoes, Boots, Sandals and Slippers

Just as the title says, where do you store your Shoes, Boots, Sandals and/or Slippers. They seem to gather around the door in our RV. Does anyone have a good solution for where to keep everyone's footwear when not wearing them?

Too funny because its true. I have 2 slots for the shoes that dont get used. Outside in a bin that doubles as the awning light holder, and inside under the front bunk where that bin was stored. The only time shoes are there are day 1.

The hiking shoes are nasty or muddy after wearing them. you can find special shoes or boots on this website. work boots storage is different because they are dirty after wearing.

We have a toy hauler and the garage in back is the perfect "mud room" for taking your shoes off. If it's just my wife and I, I'll leave my various shoes back there and set them under the dinette seat. But if/when I actually put my shoes away, they go in the closet in front inside the nose of the fiver. We keep all of our spare camping shoes up there (Uggs, flip-flops, boots, etc.).

Our canvas fishing shoes are kept in the basement with the tackle boxes.
My Red Wing boots are put on my feet in the morning and stay there until bed time, unless I go fishing.
DW usually takes two pairs of shoes, other than her fishing shoes. Her "every day" shoes are likely to be found nearly anywhere on the floor.
Shoe placement just isn't something we stress about.

We use a hanging shoe holder that is 8 compartments and hangs on one end of our closet rod. Hiking shoes don't fit but it works for my wifes tennies and slippers. We have a metal rack on the floor for my shoes.

We have an actual couch in our trailer, and I keep a couple of boot trays under there for storing the shoes. Works very well.

As a fellow male, I didn't understand the question beyond your answer either. We don't have a washer/dryer in that closet so that is my clothes area. If the pair of shoes aren't on my feet, they are in my closet.

The wellies go in the basement hatch next to the door. Everything else fits in the closet just fine. We don't carry a huge inventory.

Well lets see. A long shoe rack and space underneath in the closet...but it it not enough room, for boat shoes, two pair of sandals, cowboy boots, three pairs of casual shoes and dress shoes and whatever she has. usually we store them in front of the sofa, the chair under the dinette, and a couple of strays else where. Not to sure visitors didn't leave some and take some. I still don't know where I got that pair of brown lace ups.We sometimes have every thing put away and leave our shoes we are wearing at he moment in the stairwell of the coach. Tried leaving them on the mat outside the door but....

Thanks for all the input. We pick up our fifth wheel tomorrow. I want to keep things as clean as possible. At least for a little while!
