Maybe they were put in the spot next to you when they mmade a reservation. Maybe the CG staff doesn't want to travel all over cleaning up sites during a slow period. Learn to look at an issue from all sides and quit all this self centered whining.

Actually, I don't camp right next to others if I can camp away from them. I enjoy camping this time of the year because I can get a secluded site. That being said, if someone wants to take the site next to me, I'm fine with it. It's perfectly within their rights to do do. If they're noisy or their dog barks all the time or if their kids trample through my site, I'll move to another one. Otherwise , I'll invite them over for a beer by the fire. Friendly neighbors is one of the positive aspects of camping.
But it seems to me if the campground is near empty the "Friendly" neighbors would leave a spot between rigs. I guess everyone gets it here but you so that's pretty good. Actually I was not trying to convince anyone, just trying to understand the psychology of it. I think that has pretty much been accomplished.
We have made good friends at this campground (as we do at most). ๐
Thank you all for your construstrictive responsives!

Look for deactivated Claymore mines. Point the side that says
"THIS SIDE TOWARDS THE ENEMY" in appropriate positions in several adjacent sites around you.

For years I have looked for tubas at garage sales. One sitting on the table should keep people more than a site away.

But I think you missed the whole point of this entire thread! Never said I absolutely don't want anyone next to me. Just trying to figure out why someone would go next to you when there are sooo many other sites that are equally as good or bad that are not next to anyone. I get it, you go right next to people. Please explain why.
Thanks,
Brian

You would have to find a place in your rv for the tuba! We need something that is easier to store. How about a big sign, "Beware of pit bull."
