Biscuit you got it right. You do not want to direct ground water/rain towards the sewer connection.
It causes the sanitary sewer to overflow with rain water!

"Why not" just pull up to the dump station 4 feet short of where you need to stop, put your leveling board, blocks or what ever in front of the which ever trailer tire that will raise the side you need elevated and then pull forward onto them to dump your tank. Don't forget to retrieve your leveling items before driving off.
