Kind of off topic, but not really!
We are planning a trip to Jamaica for a week. Total price for a nice hotel, and airfare Is $9k!!!!!! Holy crud!!!! Oct/nov 2016.
I am planning a 2 week trip out to Yellowstone, Tetons and Rocky Mtn NP, with stops along the way and my approx figure is around $3500! This is for 2017.
I have no reason or need to leave this country for a vacation but my wife would like to go somewhere, so I am going with it for her. Not to mention I don't like to fly. Between the danger of crashing and the shtuff to deal with at the airport....no thanks!
I'll take the RV, TT any day over anywhere else! I can have any view I want anywhere I want. For a lot less than an overseas trip! Place in the woods, house on the lake, cabin on a creek, anything!
