Women just know!

Hubby and I decided to go camping for the weekend. We decided on somewhere we had not been and I would recommend it.

Point Farms Provincial Park, Ontario

I was all ready for hubby when he got home. All we had to do was hitch up and go. About ten minutes before we left I said I had a funny feeling something wasn't right. Something was going to go wrong.
Off we went and about a half hour into the trip I noticed this warehouse that was new. I said rather forcefully stop we need to go in here. Hubby turned in and as we circled the building looking for a parking spot we heard a loud noise. We stopped and hubby walked around the TT. Yes there it was a blown tire. Badly blown. Hubby said if I had not told him to stop there we would have been flying down the highway and could have had an accident.

We changed the tire together and off we went for a wonderful weekend.
Bonus...the warehouse ( on a country road) was a discount place. They had such things as items from Cosco.
Men, listen to your wife when she says things are not right.
  • We are fairly local to the area. Sounds like a nice park from the website....BTW, wife wants to know where this warehouse is.....lol
  • Good catch. Point Farms is a great little park. We go at least once a year. What is this warehouse you speak of?
  • The warehouse is just outside of Wellesley. The were at St Clement for a while but grew. They get left over stock from places like Cosco. Maybe when there are only a few left. There was furniture, clothing, sporting goods, food...everything. They have different things all the time. Only open Fri and Sat though.
We seem to be lucky because there is another that is similar at Drumbo. I am a bargain shopper...refuse to buy anything unless it is on sale and a proper sale at that.

What did you do for a spare for the rest of the trip?

We got one the first place we could.
  • My late wife knew nothing about mechanical things but I learned early in our marriage to take her premonitions about mechanical things very seriously. It was as if she had some kind of a 6th sense, very spooky...
