WOULD LIKE TO IDENTIFY SPECIFIC FLOORPLANS

I am brand new to the forum. I am searching for specific floorplan layouts. I have a specific need to have separate "jack and jill" bunk rooms. I have a 12 year old boy and 17 year old girl. We are looking to upgrade from our little TT. We would be happy with either a TT or FW. We are not particular on the size of these separate rooms. We would entertain any layout that has this privacy considered. We have found a FW that is on the money, a Dutchmen Monte Vista 35RB. We assume there are more out there and would like to consider them before we pull the trigger. THANKS AHEAD OF TIME FOR ALL THE HELP!!!!!!

Thanks,
JPM
  • the neatest set up like that I saw years back, don't know if it still being built. had a bedroom up front with a partition down the middle, built around bunk beds, one accessible from each side with private doors to them.
    bumpy
  • I had to go and have a peek at one of the Dutchmans online. I have never seen or heard of the bunk room being separated like that. I doubt if there are many if any other like it.
  • There are a couple options that I know of. One is a Jayco fifth wheel loft model. It has a small rear bunk room with two bunks and has a overhead loft bedroom with a double bunk and access via a ladder in the living room. Not a bad layout. I believe there are several toy haulers with lofts as well but they are very large/heavy.
You will be very limited when looking for models with a master bedroom and two bunk rooms. Keep in mind that if you plan on keeping for a long time, your needs may change and two bunk rooms tends to sacrifice other living space (kitchen and living room).
One other option is a fifth wheel with rear bunk room with opposing slides. This creates a very large bunk room that can be split down the middle with a curtain. Again, this would be a heavy rig. Whatever you choose, make sure that you have the adequate truck to tow and handle the payload (especially if a fifth wheel).
    Enjoy the pursuit.
