You may be correct but to say that someone is a murderer without any further details than the link you posted is unfair to the shooter and those who obey the law and carry legally.
:h
Assuming of course that the shooter WAS "carrying legally":
To equate "those who carry legally" to that guy is to do most of them a much greater disservice than you accuse me of. Most such folks would consider it wrong/irresponsible/a gross overreaction to open fire in a crowded store simply because they're getting the worst of a rassling match.
It'll be interesting to see where the Authorities come down per charges. Contrary to headlines at certain sources, the Police have made no judgement as to his claim of self defense. They only report that's what he's saying. The local D.A. will make the call as to charges.
Not accusing you of anything. You said "Another "stand your grounder" magically materializes out of a mutual-combat situation. Gettin' away with murder just gets easier all the time in the good ol' U.S.of A.!"
"Stand your grounder's" are usually associated with those who carry and that statement seems, to me, to infer that the shooter is a murderer. Until all the facts are gathered and reviewed I will wait to see who is guilty.
Regardless of our opinions, this shooting was a tragic event that could have been avoided if cooler heads had prevailed.
Arizona does not require a permit to conceal carry. I personally think that if one is going to carry, they should be required to take a class
that has instructions in how to handle a weapon, what the law is and the responsibilities of the gun holder.
