The Good Friday overnight with the boy scouts at about age 11. It wasn't cool to bring anything but a flimsy sleeping bag, my tent partner just had a blanket. I've never seen anybody shiver so badly. The next morning we chipped ice out of the bucket of water. 54 years later, I really appreciate my truck camper.
