Kings Dominion VA.

Has anyone stayed at the campground at King's Dominion in VA? We want to stay there for a few nights but wanted to know if they have a playground for kids. We will be going to the amusement park, but not every day. Also, how are the pull thru sites? Thanks.

    We have stayed there, but it was years ago.

    According to their website, they do not list a playground, but do list a volleyball court and mention bike riding, as well as a pool.

    We stayed before as right next to amusement park and they have bus to the park. There was a playground and very large pool. Location is ideal if visiting the park plus right off highway to go visit elsewhere.

    I have been to the KD campground. Not a bad place. Close to the highway.There is a shuttle to the park.There is also a playground and a pool. It was a decent, convenient place to stay while visiting the park. I was there about 4 years ago.

    Nice little cg with shuttles running all the time. Small playground with a pretty good size pool. I heard they just paved all the roads and the sites were easy to pull thru. I've been many times.... Prefer the cg over the park..... HATE lines!!

    Stayed there last year very nice sites paved and concrete pads. I would def recommend
