RV park recommendation-Seattle Washington

Headed to Seattle WA this coming August and thinking about staying in a park called:
Cedar Glen Mobile home and RV Park - Poulsbo,WA. Does anyone know this park and can give me your feelings and ideas for doing activities around the area?

We are driving a 35' Motorhome and are thinking of staying a couple weeks. It will our first and likely only visit to the Seattle area.

Thanks
  • I would not stay in Poulsbo to visit Seattle. I would stay at Lk. Pleasant fo rthe Seattle part and then Poulsbo if you want to visit that area.
  • As noted, being on the "right" side of the sound means taking a ferry to get to Seattle
Now, a ferry ride is not a bad thing...

Eagle Tree might be better bet (right next door)

I kinda like the State parks (except Illahee, too close to Bremerton), but they have no wifi, cable-tv, etc.

if your goal is the region, stay across the water. If it's just Seattle, stay on the noisy side
  • Lake Pleasant is very nice as well as convenient to the city but reservations will be required. It is likely booked for August.
