Jinks' Christmas commercial

All three of our goldens have done Christmas commercials this year. This is the only one we have seen so far.

Belks

Disclaimers: I don't know how long the video will be available on the ispot site. And we do not like that the ad implies Jinks was riding in the back of a pickup truck.

  • Thanks for the laugh, Mark.

Jinks is not a working dog like your borderline dogs ... make that border collies. But he does get around. He is a 6 time NADAC agility champion, has a Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX) title, obedience and rally titles. But he most enjoys his Therapy Dog work. He loves working with children.

OK, there is one think he seems to like better.

  • Not your typical working dog, but still a job. Well done.

this morning's "the other coast" is so appropriate
  • Here Jinks in a Belgard Pavers commercial. This still was taken with an iPhone off of a monitor; hence, the glare.

Jinks had been lathered up for more than 30 minutes, when he decided the boy needed a kiss.

Congrats! However, watching the video, the dog jumps in the back of the pick-up, but when it shows the pick-up on the road, there is no dog in the bed. I don't think they actually had the dog ride in the bed. Unless they did filming and then cut it out of the end production.

No, Jinks did not ride in the bed of the truck, but it is implied. He gets into the truck, the truck drives away, Jinks is with them at the tree farm, he gets into the truck with the tree, they drive back to grandparent's house. (At least the story line we were given had it being the grandparent's home.) There will probably be multiple commercials made from this shooting, but this is probably the only one Jinks will be in, unless they make a longer version. It was a three-day shoot in Balsam Grove, NC
