I am new at this and I apologize if this is already posted somewhere (if it is, I could not find it). We currently own two dogs and five (yes, five) cats. (We live in the country and all were abandoned near our home.) One of the dogs is a very old senior and there is a good chance we might be down to one dog and 5 cats soon enough.
My question: We are interested in going somewhere warm for the winter. Are there any RV parks that allow multiple pets like our situation?Any that allow you to let the cats out?
We are responsible pet owners. Everyone is neutered, up to date on shots and we pick up after our dogs. We went cross country a few years back (3 cats then) and I just felt so bad for the cats being cooped up all those months while we traveled.....
Even if you do find a CG that allows it 'please' think about the campers you park next to.
I have a dog and it is on a leash at all times when away from my MH or in an expen alongside my MH.
I certainly don't want to have my stay ruined by loose cats coming from under and around my RV tormenting my dogs. And because of the cats my dogs are going to bark. And guess who is going to get in trouble for barking dogs? ME. Because of the loose cats.
And I don't appreciate having my tires and side of my coach sprayed with cat urine. Been there done that with a camper who let his cat out.
So just saying think about having a little respect for fellow campers in regards to leaving your cats loose at of all places a CG.
And yes I travel with a cat also and he stays INSIDE the RV. :C
