Slipping feet
With my really senior dogs, towards the ends of their lives, they had some problems with their feet sliding out from under them when standing to eat, and going across vinyl flooring.
For the last couple of seniors I've had, I've been using a good sized piece of that rubbery shelf liner material for them to stand on when eating.
I don't have any need at the present time, but a friend's holistic vet recommended Toe Grips for her 17+ yr old ****er spaniel. I've never heard of these before, but they look and sound like they might do the job.
