I have four carved wood boxes sitting on the window shelf of Neal, Strider, Bud and Lassie. I was going to scatter the ashes at my seasonal site by the lake, one of their favorite places. I just couldn't do it yet, not ready.
I don't know why it's so hard to let go, I know there not there.
Same for us. We have four wooden boxes for Champ, Molly, Paris, and Missy. We too were going to scatter their ashes in their favorite spots, but we've opted to keep them close to us.
