KC to Ocala FL

Hi, I’m looking for the best route and best timing to travel from Kansas City to Ocala Florida wanting to break up the trip w a layover but looking for suggestions to avoid traffic delays in the larger cities. Appreciate your help as far as a layover I will be pulling a horse trailer also so if you have that knowledge For overnight Equine n RV that would be great !  Looking at leaving out Friday

u probably made the trip. I know when i had my horse I try to stay out of mountains. I know I go I75 to Ocala but thats out of Atlanta but u probaly wont to miss Atlanta some take highway 27 out of Chattanooga but I guess u found good route
