I have 2 maxair fans and one of the 12 volt tvs shut down for several minutes then power restores by itself.
Any ideas what could cause this. The rest of 12 volt powered devices remain operational.

There are a number of 12 volt TVs available for RVs such as this one.

OK I have been a RV tech for 44 years. NEVER heard of a 12 volt tvs. AND what this has to do with the Maxxair fans? I would assume 12 volt Television, but those have not been made in over 30 years. OP Please explain further. Doug

I bought a 12V TV for my old trailer, had a built in dvd player.. the tv in the back area of my 2014 wave is a 12V tv that comes with a power block to convert 120V to 12V. lots of TV's you buy now are native 12V and use power blocks at home.

Is it internal to the TV?

Most 12v devices are dumb...they work or they don't...or at least they try. Lights turn on fan motors spin, etc... If the TV is truely running on 12v (it doesn't step the voltage up/down), it might see too low of voltage and shut down to protect the TV. Why it would take minutes to reset rather than seconds...????

Same symptoms as an auto reset circuit breaker. But in my experience with those breakers is that they reset within a few seconds, not minutes. And I would not expect individual circuits to be powered by those type breakers.

I would check the 12 volt fuse panel with a voltmeter the next time you lose power and see if power is lost to one or more fuses, but not all.

Sounds like a resettable breaker tripping/resetting/tripping/resetting........
